Hey Moons !
As all of you must be aware, more and more people are turning to natural / organic skincare and makeup products these days, to avoid all the harmful chemicals that one's body consumes through cosmetics indirectly.
India always have had strong roots in crafting natural beauty products and there are many new brands in market that are rediscovering the miracles of the nature.
I would love to introduce you all to one such All Natural and Indian brand : La Mior
About the brand :
La Mior is India's first all natural cosmetics brand with a full line of makeup products.
The name La Mior is inspired by the Friulian word miôr, meaning better or the best. Know more about the brand here.
What they claim :
We imagine, design and manufacture under a single roof to ensure all our products perform safely and effectively. These are some of the strict guidelines we follow:
Natural ingredients
100% vegetarian
Cruelty-free: No animal testing
Free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oils & synthetic fragrances
If you follow me on social media you would know that La Mior has sent me 4 products to test and review; 2 all natural creme lipsticks, 1 mineral foundation and 1 illuminating blush.
In this post I will be reviewing their 2 creme lipsticks.
Product range : All Natural Creme Lipsticks
Packaging :
The lipsticks comes in a navy blue classy exterior and golden bullet (L and R)
It is packed in a purple and golden cardboard box on which all the necessary details are mentioned (centre)
The cap has magnetic shutter and is very sturdy. Travel friendly.
Shade names are mentioned at the bottom so it's easier to identify.
The only con I find is that the lipstick inside being all natural tends to bend while application and sometimes might even break due to heat.
You will have to refrigerate them and avoid carrying them in hot sunny places.
Ingredients:
Texture :
Being creme lipsticks, these give you a satin finish
Infused with oils, they are super nourishing
Don't dry out your lips at all
Can accentuate chapped lips so you will have to exfoliate before applying
Does not need lip balm
Very comfortable formula
Lasting Power:
Creme lipsticks aren't very long lasting, as compared to mattes
But these do stay for 4-5 hours (without meals or drinks)
Do transfer
Can survive light snacks and water
Do not survive heavy meals
Don't stain lips
Fades away evenly
Swatches :

Shade 1 : City Girl ( Deep Coral Pink )
It's a bright Coral Pink shade which will suit all skin tones
It pops on your lips
The pigmentation is a little sheer for this shade. 2 swipes makes it work
Buildable and comfortable formula
Does settle into fine lines
Easy to remove
Does not stain your lips
Use a lip liner under this shade as it is a little sheer.
Shade : Timeless Wine ( Deep Wine )
Personally, I like this shade overall !
It's almost an oxblood shade, more like dark Burgundy
Pigmentation is great in this shade
You need a lip liner or a steady hand to apply this one, because it's dark
But you can fix it easily, as it does not stain your lips.
Buildable and comfortable formula
Does not settle into fine lines
Easy to remove
Price : INR 799/-
Quantity : 4gms
My Views :
Overall I love them. Specially because of it's nourishing power.
Even after the color fades you feel like you have a lip balm on. The formula is that moisturising
My personal favourite is Timeless Wine, as I have a weakness for dark lipsticks. And also because this one has better pigmentation.
The only con is that, it has a strong fragrance of castor oil which is unpleasant. However it wears off after 10 mins. Would love if they do something about it.
I would recommend you to carry these beauties only if you are travelling in AC during summers, as they will start melting in temperatures 35° and up.
But overall the "All Natural" qualities in lipstick win over the cons !

#AABtip : Don't use any lip balm underneath, as the lipstick itself serves the purpose
