Hi moons !! It's review time. Hope you had a great Friendships Week. Like a friend is a must in life, your skin needs a friend too and that is a moisturizer. There are different moisturizers for every skin types. Today I'm reviewing a Gel moisturizer which best suits oily and combination skin.

Packaging :

• The Lotus Gel comes in a baby pink tub which looks refreshing by itself

• The tub is a little huge in size and a bit heavy too, so I don't recommend carrying it around

• The tub makes it a little unhandy and unhygienic to use. But for the huge quantity of product a tub suits the best.

• After opening the cap it has a plastic lid with a little flip with which you can just pull up to open the lid

• As the gel is slippery, the lid sometimes takes a little time to fit

• Overall I like the cute and refreshing packaging, but they could work a little more on the lid

Ingredients :

• Contains Lotus Flower extracts from Jeju Islands and is made of 99% of it's aloe leaf extract

• It also contains nine ingredients extracted from natural herbal plants

• Contains Alcohol and Glycerin and added Parfum/Fragrance

• Is a Vegan product

Formula and Effectiveness :

• The gel has more water consistency than silicone feel, which I like.

• The gel is transparent in color

• Glides smoothly and gets soaked in the skin in just a matter of minutes

• However it does leave your skin a little sticky for some time, one of the reasons I prefer using this in my night time routine

• It has amazing soothing dreamy fragrance, which is why I apply it right before going to bed

• It feels cool and relaxes your skin

• Has a soothing effect on the skin

• Overall I love the gel, specially for my night time routines

• It's a great product to add a layer of moisture and at the same time cool off your tired skin

• However it is no miracle product which will transform your skin in a any big way

Conclusion :

• If you are looking for something that is laid back and adds a cool, relaxing and moisturizing quotient to your skin care routine, this is your product !

• Its free of harmful chemicals like paraben, talc, paraffin, mineral oil and tar colorant

• Availability is an issue in India

• A little pricey for a gel moisturizer

• The smell, cooling effect and the ability to relax your tired skin makes it a good luxury buy.
