St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub Review

Hi moons ! I'm back with a product review and this time it's about a product which is a hidden gem of skincare and that is a Face Scrub.

I hope you have read my detailed posts on skincare, if not read it here if you want to know in detail the steps of how to use a scrub and what are it's benefits.

Today I'm reviewing one of my favorites from St. Ives. Let's head into the review.

Packaging :

• The product comes in a white tube which is quite flexible and easy to squeeze

• It comes with a frosty plastic flip cap, which closes with a click and does not allow spillage

• Overall I find the packaging travel friendly, just that the size is huge and won't fit easily in a purse
  

Ingredients :

Formula :

• It has a paste like consistency

• It has small seeds of apricots which act as the gritty particles in the scrub. I'm totally against the plastic gritty particles as they are harmful to the Marine life

• The Scrub is not too harsh on the skin, yet at the same time helps clear all the dead cells and dirt stuck on the skin

• Easy to wash off

• Dermatologically tested

• Paraben and SLS free formula

Effectiveness :

• Apricot has a reputation of drying the skin out. However this scrub does exactly the opposite

• It exfoliates the skin well, leaving the skin fresh, clean and radiant

• It also leaves a layer of moisture. So it's a win for me

• It's a myth that you should not scrub an acne prone skin. As a matter of fact, scrubbing helps cleanse clogged pores which is one of the causes of acne, thus if the right scrub is used it can help in clearing the skin. They have a special scrub for acne prone skin, sadly it's not available in India. But this one works just fine too

• St. Ives Apricot scrub helps achieve a smoother skin by removing all the gunk stuck on the skin while leaving your skin squeaky clean and moisturised.

• Absolutely love this one. You will definitely see a change in your skin if you use this scrub twice a week, regularly for a few months.

• A tube will last for months, is little on higher end for a scrub but for the output it gives it's worth the investment.
