Review : Lotus UV Screen Matte Gel SPF 50

Yes it's absolutely important to use sunscreen everyday, be it winter or summer. However during summers the sun rays are very harsh and it's recommended to use sunscreens above SPF 30 to get best of the protection.

• The product comes in an orange, plastic & opaque tube

• It has a flip cap which is quite sturdy

• Overall the packaging is very travel friendly

• Does not leak

• The only con is that you can't see how much product is remaining in the tube

Texture :

• It's a gel sunscreen and the texture is very light-weight

• It is white in color and has a mild fragrance

• It's a little sticky when you spread it but it settles into complete matte finish in just a few seconds

• I recommend dabbing it into skin rather than massaging it, as it dries down quickly

• Unlike other sunscreens this does not sweat you out or feels sticky

• It's a perfect sunscreen for the hot and humid cities like Mumbai

Conclusion :

• The SPF 50 works amazing

• Avoids further tanning of skin

• Gives an ultra matte finish

• Is suitable for all skin types

• Only a little amount is enough for all your face and neck

• It's a boon for oily and combination skin, however I recommend using a water/ gel based moisturizer beneath this for better hydration

• Dry skin beauties too can use this after a nice moisturizer which can keep them hydrated all day long
